When a patient has missing teeth, the surrounding teeth start to drift into the spaces.  This can cause crooked and misaligned teeth making eating difficult making good oral hygiene difficult.

Cosmetically dentures make the lips and cheeks fuller giving the appearance of a less sunken face.  Dentures can also aid speech dramatically.

What is the difference between partial dentures and full dentures?

Partial dentures.
These are removable appliances with acrylic teeth coloured teeth.
They are mounted on a pink acrylic base that fits perfectly into the space of the missing teeth.
There can be metal clasps that clip on to your existing teeth for support.

Full dentures.
These are acrylic plates that fit snugly onto your palate and existing jawbone.
They have a full complement of teeth attached to them.
